NGK-Locke Polymer Insulators, Inc. (NLPI), in Virginia Beach, Virginia, U.S.A., produces silicone polymer insulators for transmission lines and substations.

Based on NGK Insulators' 30 years of research and development in the polymer insulator field, NLPI started commercial operation in 1993, fully and directly affiliated as a company of NGK Insulators, Ltd.

Since 1993, NLPI has enjoyed quick and exceptional recognition as a dependable quality and world scale supplier of silicone polymer insulators to major electric utilities both in the U.S.A. and around the world. Our recognition results from the achievements of NGK Insulators' extensive research and development work for more than three decades.
